A very simple dish that’s delightful on a hot summers night!
What you will need
- Figs – halved
- 1/4 cup almonds
- Pure icing sugar
- 1 cup mascarpone
- 2 teaspoons honey
Toast the almonds in a frying fan on a low heat until lightly golden. Leave aside to cool. Add the mascarpone and the honey into a bowl and stir to combine. Sprinkle the now cooled almonds with pure icing sugar.
Place the figs on a plate, with the mascarpone, and almonds sprinkled over for a delicious crunch. Also goes fantastic with a glass of sweet dessert wine.
